Alliteration


Alliteration
Definition: Repetition of consonant sounds in several words that are close together

Example:
Rain races,
Ripping like wind.
Its restless rage
Rattle like
Rocks ripping through
The air.

 Significance: 
Alliteration gives poems imagery and makes poems more memorable and interested to read.
